In order to enable donation functionality on guidestar.org, an organization has to be at least at the Bronze seal level. Once a Nonprofit Profile has earned a Seal of Transparency, follow the steps below to enable third-party donations through GuideStar partners.

Access A Nonprofit Profile

  1. Sign in to guidestar.org or register.
  2. Click Update Nonprofit Profile at the top of the home page.
  3. Click "Get Started Now".
  4. Choose Edit Form under Manage.

How To Receive Third-Party Donations From Our Partners

  1. Click the Confirm & Publish section, located beneath your organization’s name.
  2. Check off the three boxes at the top of the web page.
  3. Locate the Donation Options section and toggle “On” the option to “Allow donors to give to my organization through GuideStar partners”. 
  4. Click Publish Now to finalize your changes.

How To Opt-Out Of Third-Party Donations

  1. Click the Confirm & Publish section, located beneath your organization’s name.
  2. Check off the three boxes at the top of the web page.
  3. Locate the Donation Options section and toggle “Off” the option to “Allow donors to give to my organization through GuideStar partners”. 
  4. Click Publish Now to finalize your changes.
